Gifted children face issues during the formation of their personality, which like intellectual ability or artistic talent do not fade with age, but mature and deepen.  But the same issues that influence the initial formation of the personality sometimes require the tearing-down and rebuilding of that personality.  Therefore, it is important to provide information and support to gifted adults as well as gifted children; and not to allow them to drop off the map.
